More dentists...
It's time for my regularly-scheduled dental surgery tomorrow -- kissing my money goodbye since my insurance won't pay for implants. I just don't want one of those plastic bridges or partials, though, that you have to take in and out. I'd probably lose it somewhere, anyhow.
Oh, did I mention that my oral surgeon looks exactly like Hoss from Bonanza? Minus the missing teeth, of course, because he is a dentist! Every time I go over there, the theme from the TV show runs through my head and I want to go "Hoss, you and Little Joe go round up the cows down on the north forty!"
My computer has been offline for the past few days -- I did a couple of little posts over on t_w_w_s on pipmudturtle's machine on my way to work every morning, but didn't have time to do a longer post here. The blasted thing got it into its pointy head that the wireless network in the house next door was closer than the one in the next room -- and then wouldn't let me change networks! It wasn't the wireless because Pip's computer still worked. I called Apple twice, had to wait so long both times that I ended up hanging up so I could get to work on time, and finally took matters into my own hands. I shut down the machine totally, unplugged the wireless box, let everything sit for a minute, then plugged the wireless in, then turned my machine back on -- and it seems to be working again. I also reminded the "preferences" that I want the network inside the house, not in the next house over!
