(no subject)
Chose a black cat with orange under, rising to a point on her chin, for my pet - big friendly cuddly cat. Told Dan this one looked the best and he pointed out that her belly was sagging down to the ground, but I said that was usually the case anyway once they got older. Thought about calling her Pumpkin. (I dream about cats a lot, but a new one belonging to me is very unusual.)
Let Johnnie outside and he went in the neighbor's yard - while getting shoes on to go retrieve him, a bunch of people settled at the table in my yard and started having some kind of meeting. I went out and said they would upset my dog once he got back, so they probably shouldn't be there. They hung around - seemed to have something important they needed to do. Went back in and Mom was looking at me like I ought to have been more insistent. Running around the house doing something, too. (Odd how intruders have become a new theme.)
Feeling a little better than yesterday. Just didn't want to keep thinking about where I'd been or where I was heading. Still have lots of stuff, although now we have enough floor space so it's not too bad. The garage needs the most work. Been heavy on my mind for years and I know if I write promises that I'll do it, it won't happen. Same with lists - strange but true. If I write a list of things I want to do that day, not a one will get done.
