quickie, 'cause I don't remember much
Carla & Bruce are celebrating her birthday in their own grandiose style. I'm having fun hanging out at their house for days and helping out. Bruce wants to hang tons of paper hearts in the entry of (what is not really) their house. We have some kind of dinner and there's this lovely thing involving lemon curd and chocolate, but looks like egg yolks. Mom doesn't want hers, so I eat it and a portion of the fresh pastry that's been laid on the table. General gaiety in a sunlit house.
