On the bright side, I just discovered the greatest cure for raw nose (from blowing) which is so simple, I don't know why it didn't occur to me before. Carmex. Feels great on, not too menthol-y, and protects from the next barrage of tissue abrasion. If you don't have Carmex in the house, Neosporin will suffice.
