man oh man good good good weekend. i loved it. heres how the story goes..
Friday i went to school. and the whole day roger was like "holy shit im nervous, were gonna suck [at the show] i dont wanna play the show!" or he was sayin "holy shit were gonna fucking rock!" so after school we left right after and went back to rogers house, and loaded up his van of all of our shit. then jeff showed up and showed us this thing he made in art class that looks like a kangaroo dressed like travis barker with a mohawk holding two drumsticks. it was really cool. so we packed his drum set up and took off to the club. we got there and played kick the can for a while. [like 2 minutes] then went into the club and sized up the place. and mikey the big mexican who runs the place was like *mexican accent*"wha bAn are you mang" ..."a nighton the town" "o ok bringg your van round back" so we complied to the nice mexican and did just that. and unloaded and sat down for a little bit till other people started showin up. the next band there was Buried Within. whose members ive given nicknames. not to be mean, but because i dont know their real names. there was Blondie, Monkey, Bleeder, and Protein. then the drummer of Buried Within was sizing up Jeffs kit. which is a DW and owns all. so there was some unsaid tension between drummers. then people and 'in this life' showed up. their singers really cool. he used to have dreadlocks. but no more. so anyway. then. it was time to play. and surprisingly alot of people stood up for us. i was expecting everyone to stay sitting. but we started playin and the sound guy sucked so the guitar was way lower than it should have been. but despite shitty sound we played good. we only fucked up once. because i accidently strummed a chord during a verse. and struming a chord means "go into the chorus" to jeff so he started the chorus. but he went back to the verse quickly. so he covered it well. and after each song people clapped and some hollered [HOLLA!!!] then afterwards the bassist from in this life, and a couple guys from buried whitin told us we did a good job. and so did our friends because they have to say that. and mikey [the big mexican took our number to set up more shows. so the rest of the nite i hung out with candice and ate food. and we talked to Greg, the singer of the Mod Flanders Conspiracy and he wanted us to play shows them. and MOD as played with Thursday. and i want to play with thursday. so maybe hopefully well get to play with a big band that i drool over.then candice left. and i got sad. but she gave me her phone number to call her and set up a time to go to toys r us. then i stayed for a little longer and then shauna took me home. friday was a great day.
saturday was the best day ever. i hung out with candice all day,. litterally. from 3 till like 12 at night.it was grand. i picked her up at 3 and we went to up to fredricksberg and stopped at best buy. and we walked around and saw a kid with bigger boobs than candice. and he was a boy. then i bought the acceptance cd. which is very good. then we went to toys r us and looked at pretty much everything in there. and after about an hour of wandering around int here. we ended up only buying candy. from there we took off to the mall. the mall is good. but it was crazy hot outside and i had pants on. so we walked into the mall and went to american eagle where i could buy shrots. which i did. and they are great shorts. then we went back out into the car where i changed into my shorts. because it was hot out. then we went back in and walked around. we wandered into fye and saw Bleeder and Monkey from Buried within. we were lookin for Blondie but he didnt work today. so we left. then we decided we were thirsty. so we went to auntie annes and got drinks. then we went to suncoast movies and candice bought the first 9 espisodes of invader zim. because she loves invader zim. so i allowed it. then we sat in this porch display in the middle of the mall and talked for like an hour and half. about nothing. it was great. then we wentt o same goody and on an impulse buy i bought the as i lay dying cd. which is also very good. and we took our picture in that photobooth thing and got pictures of us in a big heart. then we left and went to boarders. where i found the book i wanted. 'white oleander' so i was very very happy. then we went to the dvd section and found a history dvd on the history of mullets. saddly we couldnt buy it. then we sat on the kid step in the childrens area and she read me the book Z"the rainbow fish" which is all about sharing. it was a good book. then i asked her to be my girlfriend since i adore her to the max. it was the next step. so i did. and she said yes. and i smiled. and i was happy. and im still happy. and i havnt been this happy since summer.
this weekend was grand.
