Hooray for Implants
Ugh. My roommate made dinner and I was home for it (for once). Anyway, the started was duck egg soup which I tried because I've never tried it before. Let's just say that I'll never try it again. It's egg flavoured water. OMG I feel sick just typing it. What is it with the Chinese (my roommate is Chinese) and eggs? I've also tried egg tarts & steamed egg to no avail. I thought I loved eggs and they were reason #6 on my list of why I'm not a vegan. Turns out I only like them for breakfast or in desserts (as long as you can't taste them). Hopefully they go to bed soon so I can make some microwave popcorn to get rid of the taste.
*News flash* Colin & Justin got married. Yes, I don't know them but I thought it was cool news especially since I didn't know they were a couple. Obviously I knew they were gay but who works with their bf? I have yet to watch their Canadian show but I just found it online at HGTV so I'll give it a go when I have nothing to do.
Saw a girl's brand new implants yesterday. Just one of the many perks of working in a lingerie store. I've seen implants before but not when they were still swollen. It looked like she was stretched to capacity. So veiny. They looked so gross and I'm not against implants but she bought DDs and she was way tiny. Looked ridiculous like Pammy ridiculous. And you know I love Pam. *cue user icon* She was very cute & sweet but it was odd how she'd say, "well I bought DDs but I think they're still swollen and I want something with push up." With pushup!? What's the point of getting implants if you're going to have to wear push ups? The only reason I'd get implants would be so I wouldn't have to wear a bra. Bless her heart.
In other news, I'm currently reading a Christian chick lit book. What?! I knew there was something I didn't like about the author when I picked it up from the library but couldn't remember what. About a third of the way in the protagonist mentions that "she wants a good christian man". Good lord. Literally. I've read a book of the author's before and had to quit because Jesus was like a secondary character. It was a bunch of ladies at the spa talking about Jesus. This book isn't quite that obvious so I'm seeing how long I can last. Otherwise the book is good.
Now I'm off to watch the American Idol songs from tonight. I'll add one if they're any good. Probably not. I just watch them on youtube so that I can properly hate them. Plus, the hot aussie Michael Johns was kicked off last week. Boo. He was the only reason for watching imo. Reminds me of my hot aussie friend on facebook who just sent me a wall msg a few days ago. He's lovely as well. Unfortunately I've been surrounded by Aussie men many times (Lake Louise is like Aussie central everyone there in the winter is Aussie) and they don't live up to the hype. However, I'm sure that's just the ones who are attracted to the area. Aussie girls on the other hand are always lovely.
