gossiping women
Just been
arguing with mother. I told her off for gossiping about people when you
don't know anything about their lives. She started talking about
chricellaine because she passed her when she was driving up the street,
and she was saying 'its funny isn't it, she was going to go off
breaking eggs with a big stick traveling around the world, what
happened about that?' and then she started talking about all the money
she must have because her dads died. It fucking pissed me off.. we dont
know anything about other peoples lives, what they do is up to them, I
don't really care. She argued that everyone must talk about our lives,
everyone gossips about everyone. Well fine if they want to great, but
it doesn't mean I have to do it. She thinks I'm defending chricellaine,
but all I was trying to say is that what other people do is their
business. Then she said I shouldn't always try to see the best in
people...and I dont believe I've ever been that type of person.
I just don't like people dredging up the past once you've come to terms with it and put it behind you, especially when they get it wrong. And because I'm so bad at arguing, it normally goes the wrong way because I can't articulate my views properly. I hate arguing with mum because she always plays the 'Ive had more experience in life than you have' card. Obviously she has but she still lives in the past some of the time.. whereas I want to forget it. Learning from it and moving on is better than going back and thinking about every detail over and over, which is what she does. I wasn't defending chricellaine, but I don't think hating her will get me anywhere. I dont hate anyone anymore. There're loads of people I dont like however, like the guy in farnham who calls himself 'jesus', and most of the general public.

The other thing that I dont like talking about with mum is men, because I always end up defending them..because theyre not 'all the same'.. and I can't stand feminism. How come we've got the word 'misogynist' for men who hate women but there's no word for women who hate men. Thats not very fair. Women spend more time slating men than men do women.
