(no subject)
I've just got back from the Edinburgh festival. It was pretty awesome.
I was only there 2 days - 1 full day, but I still saw 6(?) different
things (theatre/comedy), as well as the odd street performance. I
didn't want to come back to Bodmin, but that wasn't just because I
liked Edinburgh, I never like coming back to Bodmin.
1 month left. I've been counting down since I came home in May. I miss everyone/thing in Farnham. Its a boring place too but not so bad as here and I've got people around me there, and London (I need to go to some exhibitions before the second year starts..and I might see some bands in oct/nov). I'm going back for freshers week, because I'll probably be working for it. They've knocked down the bar and built a new one.. I only found out last night when I saw the new website for my SU. The Surrey Institute of Art and Design has merged with Kent.. so there're 6 campuses, and it's called the University College of Creative Arts now. Still only university college which is what we were before. I wonder if theyve knocked down the box office/cloakroom because it was joined onto the bar. I kinda hope not because I liked it, even though it seemed like it was made of card, and you stuck to the floor when you stood in there.
Anyway in the next month or so I'm spending as much time as possible outside Bodmin. In Plymouth, St Austell, Padstow, Bristol, Preston, Manchester. I hate doing nothing.
Without a Trace is back on Monday yay. Something worth watching! I'm not sure I want a tv next year..I didnt miss it last year. It aint worth paying the licence. I've got my apple mac to watch dvds on and I can borrow them from the library..if there are ever any available. Anyway I'm gonna go and have some whisky. Ciao.
