The Velvet is Moving House
That's right folks, The Velvet is picking up and moving house. Cross-Country too. From Helena, Alabama to Colorado Springs, Colorado. More than 1300 miles to go stay with my mom; she's going to pull in my drive way with the trailer tomorrow afternoon.
Big change for me; I used to live on the beach In Galveston, Texas. Heck my prom was on the water. I've never seen more than an inch of snow in my life.
And, of course, we are stopping though Texas to see the sisters! There's no way I can forget my charger for my camera this time; Its already packed so you guys will actually get to see my family.
Though to all my friends on here I text incessantly, Like I Agree, Meg_nevermore, and Electrikfeather, I'm not going to have a phone until I can get a job somewhere and my first paycheck. Never fear though; I'll be back up and running in no time.
And I've not been slacking either! I've been working on my NaNo and a couple of other fics! 16.7K toward NaNoWriMo (I know, I'm behind, but I've been packing all week, I have a valid excuse) About 10K towards Hell Fire (Almost done with chapter 3 I swear) and about 2.3K toward my new Christmas One Shot. (Yes, This one will be up before Christmas I SWEAR. Also, its not for The Exchange, so Its a surprise Fandom this year! :3)
Well, Peace everyone; I've got to get my last minute stuff packed. (been at it for about 3hours now, God why do I have so much stuff?) And get some sleep before this whole debacle goes down tomorrow.
Oh that's right; I forgot to mention: My aunt doesn't know I'm moving out. And Mum and Papa are just showing up at the door tomorrow. I swear we didn't plan it like this; But everyone backed out at the last minute and so here we are. @_@
