I saw them through a crooked glass
A thousand souls that felt unrest
Their bodies reaching to the sky
a sacred place they'd hope to find
Can you see me? Find out where I am
They are frightened, lost, can't understand.
Two birds that fly
Two Towers in the sky
Inside we cry,
I'm lost for words
Two Birds that fly
two towers reigning high
a thief this world under one sky
I saw then through a crooked glass
a wayward race breeds hopelessness
our hearts lye cold and compromised
in this place where faiths collide
too many beliefs left here to sell
so who defines utmost moral
Two birds that fly
Two Towers in the sky
Inside we cry,
I'm lost for words
Two Birds that fly
two towers burning high
a thief this world, under one sky
Can you see them through a crooked glass
a city burns and falls to ash
mimics of time we place the blame
a full circle a new name
When will we lift the veil to light
Stand in as one in truth tonight.
Two birds that fly
Two Towers in the sky
Inside we cry,
I'm lost for words
Two Birds that fly
two towers floating high
a thief this world, under one sky
