Summer In The City: a Bandom Big Bang fanmix by
summerslaughter A/N: First of all, I need to extend my thanks to two amazing people, without whom this fic wouldn't have been anywhere near written:
_slashygoodness, who beta'd this in RECORD time and is amazing and awesome and <3333, and
xingou, whose fault this whole thing is. Last June I emailed her, after seeing a thank you to 5o4plan on TTTYG, with a flaily email about it, basically saying "OMG NOW I WANT TO WRITE A PATRICK/JON 5O4PLAN ERA FIC, Y/Y?" to which her reply was basically "MFY". It was written in parts, in emails on my Sidekick, over the course of almost a year, with her cheerleading me all the way. And also telling me I needed to write a proper ending, because the one I had wasn't exactly an ending. I also want to thank each and every one of the
bandombigbang mods for the amazing job they've done of this challenge. I am in awe of you all.
Secondly, I researched the hell out of this (sometimes at work, and I'm pretty sure my boss is still confused about the two weeks wherein I spent every lunch break on Myspace, Wiki, and Google, occasionally exclaiming things like "YES! That gives me a WHOLE SUMMER TO PLAY WITH" and "But noooo! When were the exact dates???" and other such random things). However, I am aware of one glaring error: Andy joined the band seven months before TTTYG was recorded/released. However, Wikipedia had already told me that EOWYG (on which Andy was NOT drummer) was released two months before TTTYG, and by the time I found out any different it was too late to change it. So.
Phew. I'm exhausted. XD
