Only an hour to Edinburgh! I had a very short stopover in Newcastle where I suddenly became glad that I had worn a scarf for tattoo-hiding porpoises, because I had forgotten something; to wit: just how much colder it is north of Darlington.
I currently have somewhere over 11,000 words of one fic on my Sidekick. It's the first thing I've been really properly excited about in a long time, and has involved ridiculous amounts of research. I now know more about Chicago, random bands who no longer exist, and the movies which were released in May 2003 than I ever could have anticipated. I'm not even half way through. This is going to be epic.
Finished rewatching NCIS last night as I simultaneously packed, ficced and beta'd, and immediately after hunted for spoilers. Found them, read them, squealed. God, I love my show(s). It can be the 23rd of September yet?
My signal has gone, because the train is apparently in the Middle of Nowhere. *waits for it to come back*
