(no subject)
The train from Galway to Dublin was delayed for 45 minutes because we had to wait for the other train to go by. The only places where there is more than one track apparently is at the stations. What a pain in the arse. I found out that my hotel is not exactly in Dublin but in a place a few miles north called Swords. It seems like a quite little town but I got there too late to explore it. There were too interesting pubs though. One was called 'the cock', and the place across the street is 'the slaughtered lamb'. Interesting names, though I wasnt too keen on drinking in a place called 'the cock' without talking to a few people first.
The cool thing was I got free breakfast this morning and one of the district managers picked me up and brought me to the sales office. It's a really little place, about 10 people work here in total but it will give me an idea of what I will be doing as I move up the sales ladder. They also told me that I can add my meals at the hotel to the company tab.....SCORE! Rob is getting steak tonight....weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
