It's been a while since I've posted.
Nothing really new except for being terribly deathly ill.
Well, maaaybe not that bad.
Anyway.
So I saw and read Memoirs of a Geisha and they are both now favorites.
A favorite movie and book.
Also, I FINALLY saw Last Days and PROZAC NATION!!!
Yayyy, well Last Days was tedious yet brilliant even though it was basically Mike Pitt in all his hotness, gawd I sound so teenage fan girl...but oh well.
AAnd! Michael Pitt's band Pagoda...yeah well theres a music video on the DVD and I knew the drummer looked familiar and then I realized its Johnny on the o.c!! The one whom whenever I see him I say "I love Johnny" anyway...the fact that he and mike pitt are in the same band is like overwhelming hotness and wow okay I'll stop now.
But Prozac Nation was surprisingly good. I was scared to see it 'cause its about one of my heroes lives...It WAS Elizabeth Wurtzel's life so I was hesitant that Christina Ricci wouldn't do so well but it was a great film. Lou Reed was in it too! Wow. And it stayed pretty true to the things Elizabeth Wurtzel said, being the black waves she experienced.
And the depression and how you wake up on days afraid you're going to live.
Anyway, I'll not get into that right now because I've got a lot of things to say but I'm tired of typing.
But I now recommend three films to all of you to see.
Add them to your films to watch before you die list.
I shall talk to some of you later.
Peace.
