I work long hours to avoid answering the phone.
Too many peoplewho knowme. I called
to cut back my plan --it's only good for work now,
like th email: all the num
bers and notices I collect without trying.
There is nothing I want to try anymore.
No children,
no a rt.
No church socials. No beer.
Very lit tle ti me has passed, I am always surprised how little time it takes
to get lost--
How thinking great thoughts behind the wheel
can leave you wonde ring where you are. So
metimes you
don't even remember where you were going.
The re is ne veranyone to ask fo rdirectio ns.
and no one knows when we will get there, but there are companies who bet it will take less than a hundred
years. It's funny how we have to get lost to find
out that the road doesn't go on. Sometimes
you're not just lost,
and you are not just thinking great thoughts.
Some
times entire armies
return to find they have lost their home.
