Finally!
After some major office upheavals, a sideways promotion, and a ton of work, I am done, at least for a while. I scheduled vacation for the latter half of this week and the first half of next, not knowing where or what to do, just knowing that I needed desperately to get away. I've hung out with Sami (St. Patrick's Day girl) a bunch of times since then, and we've been getting along fantastically well. So a couple of nights ago she calls me, totally out of the blue, and says, "Want to go to Vegas?" And not having done anything spur of the moment in what seems like a short eternity, I said, "Sure!" So her and I and a bunch of school friends of hers are all meeting in Vegas on Thursday. She's told me stories about a few of these characters, so it should be a blast. Anybody have any favorite Vegas activities? Something off the beaten path, maybe? And where the hell do I go to get good sushi?
I'll be back on the 7th, with loads of stories, I'm sure!
