(no subject)
Last night was pretty fun. Matt and I rented a motel room in Boise (he had to be at work at 7:30am, so we figured by renting a room we could a)avoid driving back home late at night with possible drunk drivers on the road and b)he could sleep in since we'd be up so late!), and went out to a masquerade at the Crystal Ballroom over by 8th and Bannock. Some interesting costumes there :) We went out for dinner beforehand, and quick note in here - avoid the Kopper Kitchen at all costs. Worst service ever, and the food was even worse than the service.
Stayed out until just after midnight. Oh yeah, hah, if you're planning a new years kiss don't wear a ton of glitter on your lips :P It'll wind up all over your face!
Slept soundly, woke up when Matt had to leave for work, couldn't fall back asleep, so channel surfed for a minute, then decided to pack up and head home. Managed to somehow take a wrong turn and end up in the airport parking lot, but made it home about 8:30/9:00ish.
Had the best bath ever! No, seriously. Used the last of my Lush karma bubble bar (awww), and had a long soak with cushy bath pillow plus mask over eyes (and, whoops, briefly feel asleep :S ).
Was much more awake after that, and decided to clean...which lead to rearranging the furniture in the bedroom. What better time than the start of the year for a change I guess! Also completed another level in Paper Mario.
Okay - back to cleaning!
