Ten Reasons I Like Earth, Despite Being Trapped Here (in no particular order):
1. Tea. There's nothing like it in the universe. Especially with a few lumps of sugar.
2. UNIT. You never know when heavy artillery will come in handy.
3. Liz Shaw. Brilliant and beautiful Everything I like in an assistant.
4. The Brigadier. That unflappable military mind.
5. It's rarely boring. You keep getting invaded by aliens.
6. Bessie. Style and speed. She'll never be the TARDIS, but she comes a close second.
7. It's not a barren ball of rock somewhere. I could be trapped someplace much less pleasant.
8. Humans. Surprisingly inventive, stubborn, creative, enterprising, and just surprising.
9. The lack of Time Lords. My own people are stuffy and boring, and more pleasant when they're far, far away.
10. James Bond, Harry Potter, Shakespeare, etc. etc.
