this made me cry, then laugh, then cry again.
i wrote this somewhere else but it's worth repeating:
when i first "discovered" keith olbermann, i spent a lot of time scouring the internet for interviews and old 'special comments' and whatever. i found this interview that cbs did with keith, and he talked about his mom and baseball in it. there was something in those words that really endeared him to me then. i always thought, if he'd said something else, had a different story, maybe i wouldn't have stuck to him this much. maybe i would have never admired him so much.
but he loved his mom and baseball and i loved him for that. i just dug up that video from youtube [not very hard since i have it saved in a play list i labelled "pundits"], it's here: [starts at 1:30]
