(no subject)
After a hot day the sky looks like there could be ripsnorting storm tonight.

Sunday we drove out to D's sister's bd party. D's mum rode with us so we wouldn't get lost lol. It's about 3/4 of an hour drive. So, we're driving down the highway and she says, "oh there's the tractor in the sky." I look up in the sky for a tractor, never thinking about the impossibility. There is a tractor in the sky, stuck up on a high metal structure. On the way back D took a pic of the sky tractor but I haven't uploaded the pics yet.
Had a fun time visiting people and eating good food at the party. One of the highlights was playing with their new pup Ringo, named after Ringo Starr because the dog had a furry mop top on his head when he was a few months younger. He's an interesting mix of Labrador Retriever, German Shepherd, and Husky. Very handsome.
Ringo is now 5 months old and big! Still growing into his huge paws. He's sweet tempered, smart and playful, although still a bit wary of males due to a rough beginning in his little life. D's sis said he'd been kicked in the ribs because his ribcage was slightly mishapen when they first got him. Time and love are healing his body and spirit, though. Once reassured, he comes around straight away.
I told Ringo to thank his lucky stars for his new home that gives him so much love, attention, and patience. He'll be a great big ol' sweetheart of a dog. I have pics but haven't uploaded them.
