On Back Acne... (Updated: 6th Jan 2010)
Singapore's hot tropical weather is a love for some and hate for others. Our skin is more prone to acne as compared to those living in countries with cooler climates.
Today's review is for those who are prone to, or suffering from Back Acne.
Please note that I am not representing any company or product. This review is based on my personal experience and successful outcome which i would love to share with friends and family or those who are or know someone who is troubled by Back Acne.
I hope you girls/guys can benefit the same way i did after a long journey in finding a cure.
To beautiful confidence and fresh skin girls! =)

I've tried importing expensive organic soaps, seen a doctor, read on health reviews yada yada. None of them worked.
However, after trying a combination of these 3 products and maintaining it throughout my daily shower routine, my back acne has been cured and dressing up has never been more fun!

Step 1:

You will need this sponge for both body showers later on. Benefit: Exfoliates

The Body Shop's Drench Sponge Large

Price: S$17.50

Step 2:

Use QV wash

Benefit: 1st round cleansing to remove impurities. Put QV wash on Drench Sponge (TBS) and work it on back into a lather. Rinse.

Price: Depends on size. The size below is 200ml, obtainable from Watsons at price range of below S$20.

Step 3:

Use: The Body Shop's Vitamin E Facial Cleansing Bar

Benefit: This mild cleansing bar is like the cherry on top. QV wash helps remove daily inpurities while this miracle bar helps smooth, evens and protects the skin from harmful dirt and sun. It also helps in lightening scars.
Price: S$7.90

This is also known as my miracle soap now. I initially started off with The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil Bar Soap and it works well too, but they've discontinued the product. In fact, i find this even better as it smoothens the skin, evens the tone and lightens scars! I'm into my second bar and there are already no more scars!

I wrote this review with the hope that it benefits more of you girls out there so you can strut your pretty backless dresses with confidence!
Do leave a comment should this work out for you or if you have any other tips to share!

UPDATED 6th January 2010 - Additional tips for scars

Spa Wisdom - Africa Ximenia & Salt Scrub
Size: 350.00ml, Price: $52.90

This is an exfoliating scrub that really helps lighten scars. It has those grainy stuff that exfoliates and cleanses your skin! Tested at the store on one hand and the difference in tone of both my hands were obvious! Tried it on my back and the result was an extremely smooth, and whitened toned skin. Although i just started using, i would think those who still have scars can give it a shot. Once a week exfoliation continued with Vit E bar soap and drench sponge should make your shower a whole load more enjoyable, if not lighten scars in the process.
It's spa afterall! ;)

xoxo,
Jo
