I know I haven't posted an update. I've been busy with the anti-sedentarianism movement!
- I am running stairs every weekday at work. (2 flights, up and down, 6 times total)
- I am walking my dogs around the entire neighborhood, and not just the convenient streets 3-4x/week.
- I am meeting deana_in_texas and my friend Renae once a week each for random long walks. (I need to get in touch again with bookpixie to set up walking dates.)
- I hang with my friend Shane at least 1-2 times a week for DDR. (We play for 1-2 hrs. each time.)
- I am up to 115 isometric push-ups and 40 crunches each & every morning. (I plan on moving to "real" push-ups sometime within the next week or so...)
I have only lost 3-4lbs. so far.
BUT
I feel a heck of a lot better, and my clothes fit better, and I can tell a difference in the mirror.
Whether I hit those 50 lbs or not, I'm going to keep this up. I'm so full of energy, that I actually *want* to keep this up.
Anyone else who wants to join the boycott, let me know. I will make arrangements!
