So, yesterday I recieved an email from a fan.
This is going to seem a little odd and stalkerish,
so I'm sorry if I freak you out. Are you 'IceQueen'
from RAHN? Because if not, she's claiming credit
for your work- here:

Apparently this "IceQueen" had told her off for posting a reply to her thread saying that she'd stolen the material from VelvetBlood, because she went by the name VelvetBlood in other forums. The girl didn't believe her, and emailed me just to make sure.
I followed the link, and there was "A Thousand Yesterdays", copied and pasted in whole, and the silly little "author" saying that she'd been in a yaoi-writing mood. *eyeroll* Yeah, right. I left a reply on the thread saying that it was my work, with documented proof and dates of publishing from eight months ago. I also pm'd the moderator of the forums with a request for the bitch to be banned. Thankfully, the mod was really cool, and IceQueen is no more. But I've saved her livejournal url so as to keep tabs on her in the future.
Poor, talentless, misguided fangirl. You really are so stupid as to think that no one else in YOUR forums could possibly have read my fic. Or that they wouldn't contact me about your thievery once they recognized my work bearing your name. Or that I wouldn't come down on your ass like a rain of fiery sulfur.
Thank you to this lovely person for bringing the outright plagiarism of my work to my attention.
I'm only disappointed that the girl went down without a fight. I was actually sort of looking forward to a flame war with a sixteen-year-old. How sad is that?
