Hrmm, okay, have briefly suspended sobriety and decided I must stop fucking wallowing and start rebuilding and going through with select of the pairings we had planned.
So we are simultaneously pairing a kahnite litter and a fluffy aimed del sol litter.
Kahnite litter is our last available decent pairing of the line.
Mother will be Lykan, black berkshire female, traditional falling man marking, blah blah, daughter of Hades and Minerva.
Father will be Bahamut, black hooded male, splotchy, son of Gabriel van helsing and and Minerva.
Half sib pairing, yet to work out hades percentage but it's fairly high, considering Minerva the common parent is also a daughter of Hades.
In a hurry with this one cause Lykan is a year and a month with some change, so with any other family I'd say too old - however her mother at about 1 year and 9 months is only just starting to look physically too old, so fairly confident about glossy gorgeous Lykan's abilities, esp since she's had a litter before.
Del sol litter is a little sooner than expected and a different order, since Bella is chubby from being a mummy we decided to have our planned second fluffy-aimed litter first. Full sib pairing.
Mother is Siria, agouti berkshire, daughter of Thea and Severian.
Father is Roshanak, black berkshire, son of Thea and Severian.
Too many possible color/marking outcomes for this litter to make a decent guess.
Feel a sudden urge to have fluffy aimed litter asap since it is becoming possible that everyone else's fluffy carriers are infertile. Blargh. Gah. Oh well.
Hoping for two not huge but well balanced litters.
Currently Roshanak is scentmarking and walking on and sniffing his lady a lot.
Bahamut is having a sulk and a feed and a groom, after screaming at Lykan and kicking her a lot. Gary tells me this is kahnite courtship, lol.
