I 'm back from a lovely trip to South Lake Tahoe this past week. I was there for training on the Strong Interest Inventory - Yay! I am now fully qualified to go into private practice, should I choose. I brought C and R along for company. They had a wonderful time and we spent my last day hiking (me! hiking!) in the mountains. It was gorgeous and I'm so glad we went.
Not only was it beautiful scenery-wise, but I was in California the day gays were finally allowed to get married. It was amazing to see it on the cover of every local newspaper and all over the news.
I also got 10 pages done, handwritten, so I proved to myself I can still stay engaged with what I'm working on even when my time is occupied. I wrote in brief bursts during lunch and coffee breaks, while waiting for laundry, and when I took R to the pool. Now I have a ton of stuff to work with this weekend as I type it up and make some sense out of my handwriting.
