Note: Just a little tidbit of history so that you can enjoy #9 a little more. The Bridge of Sighs is the actual name of that bridge in Venice. It is the bridge that joins the Palace in San Marcos Square with the dungeons. When prisoners were convicted and to be put into the dungeons they were led across that bridge, which has small windows in it. It is said that that was their last glimpse at daylight and life because the dungeon contained no windows for light to get through. So on the way, the prisoners would look out onto Venice and sigh because they would possibly never see it, or the sun, again. When you visit the palace, they allow you into the dungeons and you get to walk across the bridge in their footsteps.
