... just having a really interesting life. And not interesting in the way of the Chinese curse, I am pleased (and relieved) to report.
Since dropping completely off the radar a few many months ago, what have I been up to? Well, I've become a total gym rat: I go six days a week, I lift weights with the big boys, I've quietly lost around 30lbs.
I've had an interesting Away Mission.
I made a corsetted wedding dress for a March bride.
I've made two new corsets for myself, each smaller than the one from last summer.
I accepted an invitation to rejoin my old chamber choir, got the prize for perfect attendance and punctuality, and sang a concert last week. I did the math, and given that the choir is 100km away, figure I drove around 4200km (that's seven tank of gas, yo) to attend all the rehearsals, the concert, and the party. Worth it.
I've been to a lot of fetish events. (You May Be Kinky If... you find yourself on the guest lists of nearly every major fet event in a large city?)
I haven't done any fan art whatsoever. I have heard, however, that in my absence some of my favourite Spander artworks won awards, and I am pleased and grateful.
I've missed some of you. And if I have been missed, too, then I am grateful for that as well.
