OMG! There's soo much to do!
OMG! School's nuts this year!
I already have a crapload of assignments and tests all due and happening in the first two or three of weeks of October. I have a book report due on Sept. 29th, a test on Oct.2 and another test on the 4th, and then one more assignment due on the 10th but since I'm not coming back from Vegas til the 11th my prof gave me an extension so now it's due on the 13th! Then I have another assignment due on the 16th and another test on the 17, and then it just keeps piling and piling up! It's been so hard to get back in the groove of studying, especially since I have to cram soo much reading in within the next couple of weeks before my trip so I don't get behind. I also ended up dropping philosophy of law because my prof, first of all, sounds like Kermit the Frog and gave me a gigantic headache when I was in that class, second he rambles on and on and doesn't even take the time to write anything down or let you take in what he's just said, and 3rd he already wanted to start doing presentations within the next couple of weeks and already have soo mcuh on my plate as it is, and last but not least, IT WAS UTTERLY BORING! And yes I know it has only been one week of school or so, but I'm pretty good at deciding what I do and don't like and what I'm good and not good at. So I dropped and instead registered into another anthropology course called plagues and people and it is super interesting! I like it and today was my first day there, plus I also know someone who's in that class so I can get notes from her and catch up on what I missed, and tomorrow I need to buy the textbook.
My weekend was good!
Friday, I went to school, came home, my cousin came over and did my hair for me. She also got me a purse, flip flops, and a whole bunch of hair and make-up stuff for me too for my birthday! Then I went out to Tavern United with some friends for my birthday and then Izzy, my brother Joe, and I went to the Zoo where I watched my other brother perform with his band, Nocturnal Divinity, they're really awesome! Then Izzy and I headed home at around 1/1:30am.
Saturday (my actual birthday): I cleaned up my house, because I thought people were coming over but it turns out that Keri was the only one who could make it lol. So when Keri showed up, we chilled outside, ate some food, had some cake, went for a booze run, came back to my house hung out there a little more and then went to Keri's house where we drank and waited for people to show up so we could get the bonfire started. Angela, Chris, Jen, Neil, Tyler, Sarah, Hillary, Dave, Don, Kerrian, Izzy, Adam and Laura all ended up showing up, which was awesome! We drank, ate food, chatted took lots of pictures, and the what not the whole night! I ended up dropping my 500/600 dollar camera in a cup of beer, which totally fucked up the camera, but right now everything's working except for the screen, so you can take the pic but you just can't see anything lol. Of course I told my dad that I had put the camera down on the table and when I came back it was covered in beer, because, obviously, if I had told my dad that I dropped in my beer then he would've definitely have killed me! Of course we can't tell him what really happened though, isn't that right FRANKIE!!!! Izzy also ended up getting sick and passing out. When she woke up she came back to where the fire was with a scratch under her nose, ontop of her eyelid and underneath her eye, and also a fat lip. She can't remember how it happened or where, but all she knows is that she passed out and smacked her face lol. Everyone ended up leaving at around 2 or 3am and Izzy, Keri, Dave, and I went back inside and played some Donkey Kong bong drums game thingie, Izzy went to bed at I think around 3:30/4ish, Keri went and dropped off Dave and I watched t.v. til 6:30am, and Keri came back about and hour or so before that.
Sunday, I got up real early, at like 8:30/9am, Izzy and I played the Donkey Kong game again and then got all our stuff together and left. Of course that's the day I told my dad about the camera, boy was he pissed off! I sat around all day and watched t.v. and that about covers my weekend!
Monday-Today: I went to school and studied.
Tomorrow should be fun though, I go to school and from there my mom is, well hopefully is, going to take me shopping so I can get some new pants cause I really don't have any, well I really don't have any that actually fit right lol, and then also get a couple of new bras and maybe socks and underwear too! Then Saturday and Sunday will consist of hardcore marathon studying. Yay! (note sarcasm)
I just hope my dad can get the camera fixed before the trip, hopefully the warranty will cover it! I don't want to end up having to bring that gigantic proffessional type digital camera thing, it's too much to carry around! Maybe we'll just end up using some old school film camera.
Well I got to go and make a hair appointment and then get studying, ttyl!
