Mother's Day, all around town!
It started out a good weekend and ended a good weekend. Clint stayed right through till 9am sunday morn. He left for Windsor.
Mum and I watched the end of corrie and went downtown, had breakfest at Toby's then caught a movie "what happens in vegas" It was pretty good, funny and entertaining. Followed by a tour in the Art Gallery, which wasn't bad, I am not one for Japenese culture and Geishas, but interesting in its place. My mum seemed to like the silk kimonos..
I rather enjoyed the Tower of Babylon made up of thread and nails entitled "The day we stopped speaking to each other" and the photography of Cambodia.
Then we went to Slaintes, had a few drinks and dinner. I love this pub. It is so Irish. Dim lighting, old creeking floors, such a timeless place where good time are to be had and have had!
I had bought my mum the Jane Austin BBC series on dvd, so event ho she was happy with that we had a really good day too!
The whole day we just said "lets wing it". I am now v. tired and shall goof around online.
And the latest, I have just been invited to a wedding for June 1st. v.excited!
