1. Game of Thrones is the most visually appealing, totally, all-the-way-through wonderful thing I've watched in a while. The characters are spot on and Winter is Coming (the first part) focused on my two favorite storylines (the Starks and the Dothraki) and everything is perfect. Very, very happy about it and will be watching next week, too.
The one problem I had was Drogo & Dany's wedding night. She's a lot more vocally consenting in the book and it's a bit gentler. But I know that, because I've read it, and with only two or three lines Jason Momoa has acted his ass off to show the little bits of Drogo that will be coming out throughout the show, so I'm okay with it, I guess.
2. Pax Romana was…not what I was expecting. I didn’t not like it, but I wasn’t thrilled, you know? However, Helen is incredibly drool-worthy, Henry needs to be my second boyfriend and Johnnyboy is the hottest fucking murderer I have ever seen in my entire life. (Oh, the look on his face when he's covered in blood? NGH. Shivers of creep and pleasure.)
3. Primeval series 4 was keyboard-smash amazing. I can't believe I took so long to watch it. I just--Connor and Abby and Lester (holy shit, my crush on him has turned into full-blown adoring-crush. Again.) and Jess is so precious and omg Matt and Becker/Jess needs to happen (they just need to make out and get it over with) and OTHER PEOPLE, AH. So good. I cannot wait for s5.
