Employment Non-Discrimination Act
Did you know that in 31 states in the United States it's still legal to fire someone because they're gay?
The Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) is a federal bill that would make it illegal to fire, refuse to hire, or refuse to promote employees simply based on sexual orientation or gender identity.
If you're a US resident and think that would be a good thing, please take action today. EDNA is going up for a vote in the House on Monday and the religious right is mobilized to oppose it.
Go to the
HRC EDNA Action Page to send a message to your representative. It's easy. Promise.
~Still working on the drabbles, but AP has gotten in the way. Again. Why am I not surprised?
