Yeah, I'm breaking up the elricest, because they are paired off to other people. Part of the character arcs is how they resolve their relationship with each other in the face of having relationships with other people. It will be a continuing nagging problem.
Eh- to be honest, I don't mind reading fics where the Elricest is broken up. My general rule is that, if the author can pull off the relationship plausibly, I'll buy it for the duration of the fic.
Needless to say, you've done that and then some. ^_^
I personally ship just about every pairing. I have other fics that do elricest, but I don't have it in this fic, because Al is with Winry, and Ed is with Roy.

He's so multidimensional and real. He's his own man, and not his brother's shadow. It's good time for Ed to realize it too.
Although, I've always adored Elricest that helps with the Roy/Ed, but this is new, and it works, and I think I like it.
I love how you can use words to make me feel happy then anxious then sad and happy again.
