My mom is nothing but utterly cool and reasonable, which is why it's so hard for me to do things she doesn't approve of. (And yes she doesn't approve of this, she was just being tactful.)

My mom refuses to believe I write porn ^^; She's in denial and convinced that I'm still an innocent 11 year old ^^; Even when I flat out say that I'm writing smut.

LOL... My mom probably still thinks I'm a teenager too... despite the fact I'm almost 40.

Thing is, mom and I have such and honest and open relationship with each other, and she is just so completely reasonable about things... it's hard to admit I'm not an angel. I have a dark side.

I actually feel a bit better now. I doubt she'll ask to see my writing again. And I suppose she does know (being that I have children and a husband) that I'm no longer a virgin.

It was just really, really, really awkward.

The thing is, my mom read one of my yaoi fics (one of the fluffy ones, not the graphic ones), and she still doesn't believe that I write that kind of thing ^^;

It is difficult to admit that you aren't what your parents think you are, I agree.
