My heart started going pitter patter when I read the premise for this story. Now that I've finished the first chapter, I feel a little out of breath, too. I was fully engrossed from the very beginning and eagerly await the next chapter! Brilliant writing! Thank you for sharing this!

This is a really interesting start you create such empathy for John the free man who fought for a world he believed in only to have it ripped away from him.

I also really like the way you write Mycroft here still a man of obvious power who cares about his brother but more about protecting the country.

I look forward to reading more of this and seeing how you develop the relationship between John and Sherlock.

I only very vaguely remember that one. I must have read it a while back and I don't think it was complete when I was looking at it. Was it on the meme?
