I loved that John was so attracted to Sherlock's charm and ingenuity that he almost wanted to submit himself to a bond if Sherlock wanted to. After all these years of desperate running and hiding! I always love their chemistry and I admire the way your fic portrays it in a such a subtle way.
Gahhh Moran gives me chills! Poor John, I'm sooo worried and anxious and aroused altogether for what would happen to him in the next chapter...!

I'm trying hard not to make Sherlock an unlikable prick -- because, you know, eventual pairing ho! So yeah, John got to see him in action and he's pretty damn impressed. If he had to be taken down by someone, at least it was by a guy who was genuinely smart and creative about doing it, rather than the brute force and numbers that's been thrown his way all this time.

And yeah, there's definite chemistry there. Unfortunately political circumstances that have nothing to do with either of them stand in the way.
