I take everything that shows up on Sci-Fi ("or siffy" god, the letters) with a huge grain of salt. So I'm actually surprised by the premise of this show. Now I must go and watch it XD.

LOL... I honestly didn't know what channel it was on. I DVR things. But actually, I've found Syfy (god I hate that name) to be okay as far as their series are concerned, but horrible when it comes to their original movies.

For me the most profound moment was "the gift". Right there, that one thing as horrible and sad as it was was simultaneously so full of exquisite hope. Shows rarely get even one of those moments. But it was tucked into an episode where people play a freaking 20 minute yawn of a card game for stupid stakes.
