So, are you a complete geek and have about 10-20 minutes to waste, but still want to feel enlightened, educated and amused at the end of that time?

Consider TED.com. The high-minded theory behind this site is that there are actually people out there who actually have something worth saying, and that we all might appreciate watching a power point presentation by them.
Redefining the Dictionary is what got me into this site. Now I've always been a dictionary geek, browsing big old dusty tomes just for the hell of it in my younger years, so it was a breath of fresh air combined with a hefty layer of "wow" to see a lexicographer who not only compiles dictionaries but can make talking about them funny.
From there I moused my way through John Hodgemen talking about alien abduction and Scott Macleod explaining how comics have evolved with the medium they've been printed on.
And that was an hour well spent.
