Happy Birthday to ME!
Yep, today is my birthday. I'm officially a LOT older than most of you. Thirty-nine. GAH! But mentally I'm only 26, so I suppose that's good, right? Right?
Anyway, but life as a Stay a Home really doesn't pause for birthdays, in fact it seems to have gone into overdrive. I've been doing ALL day long. Have I gotten to read any fics today? NO! Have I gotten to look at any of the presents my husband got me yet, NO! Instead it's dealing with the constipated 3 year old and keeping Merlin from disassembling the electronics. Swimming lessons, then just swimming, and when the kids tired of that off to the store to get makings for cupcakes, which my kids will make for me (with lots of help, from me -- read that it will take 3 times longer than if I did it myself and be twice as messy, but oh well). And of course there is still housework to do -- I have three loads of laundry to fold, a kitchen to clean, rooms to straighten up and vacuum, and...
ALL I WANT TO DO IS WRITE.
I need to write Pawns, damn it. People are going to get upset with me if I don't and my beta's going out of town on the 9th, so I got to get it DONE.
That and this weird AU smut/plotfic is burning a freaking hole in my brain. I actually sat down to plot out a few ideas and ended up with 4400 words of it. So far it's just PG but the rating will go up pretty soon. I don't know, maybe people will be happy if I upload that. Maybe they will beat me because it isn't Pawns.
EDIT: SOMEONE PLEASE COME WIPE MY DAUGHTERS ASS FOR ME... freaking pooped 2 pairs of panties in less than 10 minutes.
