Ed, Al and the gang are making a very tiny appearence in the movie The Sasquach Dumpling Gang, which is being filmed in Oregon City -- yeah, my home town.
My husband dummied up the newspaper that appears in the movie: The Clackanomah County Register. Since he had a REAL newspaper to put out, unfortunately, he didn't have the time to actually fake up stories in it (though he did write the ones that pertained to the movie itself), but for legal reasons he had to switch out the names of the people in the articles he used, so he put the FMA gang in there instead.
NOT THAT YOU WILL EVER BE ABLE TO READ ANY OF IT.
Apparently Al had an awesome day at golf. Ed is coordinating a charity Pizza fundraiser. Roy Mustang is a girls summer camp director. Falman, Bradley, Hohenheim, Dante and Kimbly are coaches of various local teams.
We are hoping that they'll actually give my husband some credit for doing the paper, since he did take quite a few hours putting it together and laying it out. It will suck if they just thank the Oregon City News or Clackamus Review (the two papers my husband is editor for).
