Well, it's been an eventful week and I've discovered a couple of things.
1) I really like B-52's -- the drink. Man. Yummy.
2) I can be sociable without sticking my foot in my mouth sometimes. It helps to have a B-52.
3) I'm totally clueless. Even with a map. My girlfriend and I and another friend took a fourth woman for a night on the town to celebrate her birthday. It was a surprise because her birthday is actually in October. But she live's in a tiny town (900 people) and she'll be turning 40 and she said that there were no plans to celebrate. So while she was here, it seemed like a good idea.
Here's where the I"M COMPLETELY CLUELESS comes in. My birthday in about 2 1/2 weeks. I expect no celebration. It's not a big birthday, so I wasn't even thinking about it. Yep, after planning outing, and helping to buy the supplies -- it turned out to be a birthday party for ME! We went to Darcells -- a female impersonator show. It was a blast. If we'd gone to the later show we could have seen male strippers, too, but I was just as happy. We went for pie afterwards and I ended up at home at about 1 am.
It was a nice night out.
