Sooooooo -- Layout?

Er... F-list, I could really really use a layout. Or someone to hold my hand while I try to make sense of the coding and make my own. Anyone care to take pity on me?

*pats* I'd be willing to help you if you would like. I normally stick to whatever strikes my fancy. (As I'm the one that has to stare at it all the time. XD)

But you also have to think about the things you would like.

Well, I'm really clueless. I don't have the first notion how to go about this. My guess is that I find a peice of art I like. Tell me if I'm wrong.

It all depends. If you want graphics you can do that, not everyone cares for them. I normally either have a general idea of a graphic I want to use, or I have an idea how I want my journal to look with my entries. (I've changed it many times over the years. Fixing to change it once again pretty soon.)

There are several layout options to choose from. Some are easier to customize than others..or it could be my lack of inexperience that I realized that there are some I like to fiddle with more than others.

I don't want anything fancy. In fact all I really want is something more than a plain black background. I don't want the graphics to overwrite the entries -- that would drive me nuts. And I certainly don't want to hide where my userinfo and all that is, the way some people do.

But I don't even know how to put a picture in the background.

Hmmm... I've never really made one for anyone else before... >_> If you're interested, just find an image and I can see what I can do. It pretty much kills the icons, but images in the posts are fine. It mostly kills the friends page, too, though... You can look at mine if you want to see how it'd turn out...
