[PV + Song Review+ Single Preview] Resonance by T.M. Revolution

Yeah, it was out yesterday, to be exact.

And I'm not the only one disappointed. It's pointless doing screencaps or getting the video in the first place because of the follow reasons:

1. The whole PV looks like a (quote from MackeyHiromu @ tokyo-nights forum) "Sony Commercial". I apologise TMR fans, but seriously shouldn't you guys ought to be REALLY DISAPPOINTED?! We have previous TMR clips springing up all over the place. On computers, handphones, PSPs, big screens... is this some sort of a merchandise showcase/advertisement?

2. I was expecting a new PV. Or at least something like what he did for previous PVs. Or even be like Vestige or Invoke, a dance-themed like PV, not just some pieced-up advertisement where I'm diverged by all those clips swinging around the whole place.

3. But the last reason that makes me so damn peeved about the whole thing, IS THAT the single cover RAWKs, the full version is AWESOME and then the PV just falls RIGHT OFF the track.

This wasn't the 3-year comeback kind of PV that I was awaiting from TMR. :[

Lemme skip the PV review. It speaks for itself above. Nonetheless if anyone wants to check out the PV, it's right here:

Try Dailymotion or Veoh if the link doesn't work. Don't bother going to Youtube, link's taken down LONG AGO.

Song Review: HOLY SMOKESS. The whole starting follows the opening of Soul Eater. Very TMR-like, very dance-like/electronic mixed with techno kinda theme. It has a very uplifting beat, and it just makes you plunge right deep into the chorus from the start. Nonetheless, TMR's vocals make you go revolving all around the place when the song goes. Nothing special about the full verison, just there's an addition verse following the tune of the first verse. Then after that we have a reptition of the chorus in different lyrics. The instrumental part adds in some chimes, which is quite awesome in my opinion. Then we have guitar and some strings which brings it to the top, then we have back the guitarish tones and the repeition of the original chorus. It ends like the starting instrumentals. Pretty awesome song for a comeback, TMR. ^^

Though the PV totally diminished my hopes. I was waiting for a good PV with a good song and all I got was the latter. Oh well, better than having the whole comeback thingy flopping down.

The single covers are right below. Credits to Desert Heart @Wordpress for the covers.
