So.. I have gotten most of my transcript stuff sent off to the appropriate places. It was nice to talk to some of my classmates, and find out they were in the same boat when it comes to LB and SDSU. No one has heard anything it seems. That, or, we are all not getting past the secondary round of admissions. :\
I just recently finished DA2, and I have this empty feeling. As though there is something definitely not completed with the game. I am not angry at Bioware for how they treated the storyline in the game. It felt, in the end, like a giant prologue to an even bigger game. Of course, I paid quote a bit of money for something that I feel like was really a prologue to something greater. At the very end, I was really, unabashedly, excited. But this is Bioware/EA. It is going to take them a couple years to even bring anything out.
...I don't feel happy about my romance choice, as the romancing was riddled in problems for me. (Romanced Anders btw..since I couldn't do Varric) :( I miss the random, ginormous dialog trees. This game's romance mechanic felt much like Mass Effect 1 & 2, and while Bioware said they were bringing in the standard choice, and the whole idea of being voiced by a person, like Shepard in Mass Effect, they also brought along the part of the game I wish was more like Dragon Age.. Epic romancing of epic, epicness.
It doesn't help that playing it on my 360 makes loading screens take an average of 25 seconds, so moving from on character's house to the other just to have a conversation was seriously daunting. X_x;
In the end, it was an OK game. I liked Origins a LOT more. And if I had my crazy way, a third game would be a giant epic.. of whatever the seeker is referring to, whatever the Grey Wardens mentioned was MUCH bigger than what was going on in Kirkwall, and the oncoming war between Orlais & Fereldan.. accidental spoiler? Doesn't spoil anything, I promise, they are merely single lines of dialog that aren't really explored in the writing.
The mind blowing thing..? Stay with me now. Third Game.
You choose your side.
Grey Warden from DA:O.
Hawke from DA2.
Sort of how in the Transformers game you have two different factions, and you follow the storyline out for that faction.
But holy frick.. the epicness. I would play DA:O just to abandon Alistair, and hope that he comes up on Hawke's side as a fall over drunk Grey Warden. XD
Of course there would be a multitude of issues by doing any of that, and near-impossible lengths. People would get upset about the smallest things, I am sure. Ah well. A gal can dream.
