(no subject)
I have been admitted to San Jose State.
No word from the other colleges, though out of the blue, San Diego State did send me a slew of financial aid stuff in the mail. Who knows what that is about.
School is going well. I love photography, and more importantly, I am already experimenting in the processing lab. There was a batch of film that ended up getting fogged. Long story short, I do not have the hand strength to use the bottle opener to open the back of a film canister. So INSTEAD, I started messing with exposure of negatives onto paper. I am really interested in doing 'Photoshop'-like effects in the wet lab. Because I mean, hey. The algorithms of the program itself are based in there. I want to learn the traditional way, and own it so hardcore.
Work is fun. It is picking up again, so I am working full days again. Yay! :D
A fellow improver is also opening their own Improv theatre in a neighboring city. I am considering signing up for auditions. I love improv, and I love to play with the people who started this theatre. I fear I am not strong enough, or good enough as an improver to make their cut. Who knows. We will see.
PS - As for San Jose, if I go, it looks promising that I already have roommates that are planning to move from Sacramento down to there in the fall. And they are both artists that are hella chill and awesome. But.. I would miss my Murphy. . . And Kevin. ._. Ugh, I hate adult decisions.
