another day another...oh wtf?!

So life is still going strong, I've been clean off pills for 2 months and clean completely since New Years. Only drank a total of 4 times the entire month of January and February looks to be down to zero times so I'm really rather proud of myself, I feel and look 10000 times better, I've dropped the chub fat off my body, a direct result of the lack of drugs and alcohol and from cutting out fast food, I haven't eaten from a fast food joint in a month and only consumed a very miniscule amount of processed, pre-packaged foods. All in all, I've made the transition into a healthier exsistence quite quickly, not easily mind you but a bit more quickly then I had originally anticipated.

Moving my girl in this coming April, the 1st to be exact. I'm actually rather excited about this, after the initial human response of "OMG I'm losing my freedom" wore off and the realization of the impending happiness crept in, I became not only accepting of the idea but display the qualities of genuine excitement.

Now if I could just get my home life in order I'd be much happier, the fact of the matter is, I live with Brian, Nathan, and a toddler, who exemplifies the exact reasons I will never again live with anyone under 23 or greater. either 20 year olds, for the most part have absolutely no concept of respect or responsibility or I just got one that's a lazy ass fucking pot head.

Ok so I know I have some crazy pot smokers on my LJ list so I want you to answer me something, tell me if you personally think I'm asking too much because I honestly don't feel that I am.

When we agreed to move in, a lengthy discussion transpired, in which it was discussed and agreed upon by all parties that the house would:

A) be kept clean
B) NOT be a party house

So from the start all parties knew that there were those amongst the throng that had to rise at 5:30am every morning and had career minded jobs. It was also known that 2 members smoke pot and transversely, 2 members don't

Question: Is it not too much to ask that the members that do smoke, keep it on a discret basis so not to make it widely known that they partake in such activities because:

a) it's not fair to those who don't smoke to have the house reek of weed 24/7
b) take the fall if the landlords come over and they "happen to forget" and leave their pieces and weed all over
c) should have asked before automatically assuming it's ok to take over a portion of the house other then their rooms for such activities

I ask because they smoke, I would guess an 1/8th a day so subsequently the house always smells of pot and the basement is constantly hazed over. I don't think it's too much to ask that they be more discret since, it IS illegal and I don't smoke and now I can't bring my family over nor can my girl do her massages for college cuz the house always reeks. I think I have the right as a non-smoker to say "hey smoking is a priveledge not a right"
