this morning mom and i went to south berwick to look at a house. i fell in love with it.
it is SO flipping adorable. it was built in the 1800s, has both a fireplace and a woodstove, a cute little kitchen/dining room and actual ROOMS. what a concept.
downstairs is the kitchen, living room and parlor. upstairs is two bedrooms and a little loft area.
Pluses and Minuses of S.Berwick house:
+adorable
+huuuge back yard
+neighbors have big pool (oh yes)
+nice bathrooms
+big enough, yet still kinda small
+new-ish addition
+++++++++ my room would be RED
+fireplace
+a hop, skip and a jump away from the town library
-next to assisted living facility (im not really a fan of old people. . .i know im horrible)
-the room my mom would have doesnt have a door. (no joke)
-weird hangning basket in the basement. (i think they used to lock their small children in it and leave them there as punishment.)
-would have to do laundry in the basement
-a little farther away from saco
my mom i think is going to make an offer. im really excited. i really want to have my own stuff (like my own bed and dresser), and i miss a lot of the stuff in storage.
i just want to live in my own house, not someone's summer place.
then we went to some car dealerships downtown. i saw a focus ZX3, but someone bought it. haha. damn them.
