Mommy's little helper

So Landon has recently discovered that he can poop somewhere other than in his diaper, and it won't kill him. On occasion he actually goes in the toilet (his potty chair) and has even gone in the bathtub once or twice in the middle of his bath. That one is the worst... or so I thought!

This morning I put him in the bathtub and then went in to clean up the mess he made having breakfast As I was cleaning up the kitchen, he came running out of the bathroom covered in bubbles and proceeded to tell me that he had pooped - and then ran back into the bathroom and got back in the tub. I of course feared the worst... thinking he had pooped in the tub (again) and just immersed himself in poopy bathwater... so I went running in after him. There was no poop in the tub (except the streaks he left on the sides from getting back in) and he had actually gone in his potty chair! Yay Landon!!!

Okay, so I was still grossed out because he had gotten back in the tub with the remnants of his adventure still stuck to his little butt... so I got him out, cleaned out the tub, bleached it and went to get him dressed. Somewhere in all of this I got side tracked and forgot to empty out the considerable donation he left in his potty chair. I will never forget to do that again. EVER...

Landon, being the helpful little guy he is, decided to help mommy clean up his poo poo today. He has watched me clean out his little potty chair in the past and knew just what to do. After getting him dressed I did a couple of other things... which gave him just enough time to help me out. So, I went back in my bathroom to brush my teeth, and there, in all it's glory, was a large turd sitting in my bathroom sink. He had dumped it in there and put the receptacle back in the potty chair.

What a little helper.

After doing an extremely enthusiastic "gross out dance" around my bathroom, and getting the turd out of the sink & bleaching everything in sight for several hours...I decided I'll brush my teeth later.
