Summary: England visits Singapore on his birthday.

hetachallenge England rarely visited Singapore. But when he decided to pay a short one on the boy's forty-seventh birthday, he had not been expecting to see him waiting for his arrival at the airport.
“Hullo, Singapore. You didn't tell me that you will be waiting for me at the airport.”
Singapore merely shrugged and pushed up his glasses, the expression on his face betraying nothing. He had always made it a point not to show any kind of emotion in public. “Since you are visiting, I might as well cooperate and be a good host.” Even his voice was monotonous, it was hard to tell if he was pleased to see him here.
“I... suppose... Oh.” England took out a medium-sized rectangular box from his briefcase and held it out towards Singapore, who responded by staring at him in stunned silence. “Here. I didn't know what to get you but I hope you like it anyway...”
Hesitantly, Singapore reached out for the box and received it using two hands. “This is the first time you have ever given me a present...”
“Well, it's only proper seeing that it's your birth-“
“Thank you,” he interrupted, smiling. It was the first time England ever saw him smile. Singapore looked away almost too quickly and shuffled his feet in an awkward manner, looking like he wanted to give his former guardian a hug but at the same time, didn't look very willing to especially since they were in public. England sighed and was about to call for them to get a move on but Singapore surprised him yet again by throwing himself forward and somehow managing to envelop the Englishman in his smaller body. After a long moment of silent exchange, Singapore repeated, this time in a whisper:
"Thank you, England."
