Caught up with this yesterday because I noticed Kodansha USA was releasing the first volume (in August) and I wanted to know if I should preorder it (I will). Overall I mostly like it. It's got a lot simpler plot than Attack on Titan but it's nice to read it alongside that. Levi's characterization is good and Farlan and Isabel were adorable. And the art is beautiful (even though I prefer's Isayama's chicken scratch lmao).





Lmao. Every time Levi or someone mentions killing Erwin it cracks me up. Because it's a prequel.



Ugh what a pretty page. And I LOVE how this chapter mirrors Eren's choice in the forest and Annie killing Levi's team.



Lmao watch out Erwin.



Ugh I adore the parallels between Petra asking Eren to trust her and Levi asking Farlan and Isabel. ;;;;;;;;
