studing is going fine for me, all is good, i plan to do everything tonight, and use tomorrow as reivew/anatomy with k-b.
by the way, here is my english final, it is a poem about me and nature! enjoy!
Untitled
Apparently my parents did something like porn
Then, magically I was born
From day one I was a natural climber
Always trying to find somewhere higher
This I believe lead to my love for nature
So now I begin my paper
unfortunately I was given a very urban family
Walking and hiking did not make them happy
Lucky for me
I had an aunt that loved trees
And together we would go canoeing
This was my first outdoor experience
It was nice; it gave me some time, some distance
Away from the noises, the bustle the hustle
Here is where I found myself free to be un-civil
My aunt was really cool, no life vests needed
Just use it as a cushion, man this is wicked!
So now once again,
My journey to nature begin
So next on my young life's list
Was a trip to Yosemite, something I could not resist!
Here we went hiking, and half dome I saw
My oh my was I in awe
I loved to not shower, and have dirt on my cheek
The only water I would drink, was fresh from the creak
Now the snow started to fall
And in it I would sprawl
Snow angles, and wars, man was it a brawl!
The scent all around me was something quite nice
Maybe somewhere on the lines of old spice?
Now it was time, to say good-bye
But boy did I open a brand new eye!
The simplicity yet complex
The amazing treks
This new world, nature
My life, my future
Forever would be changed
Trust me, this is from the heart, I’m not deranged
So now I signed up, for all the trips I could do
Maybe one could call this a breakthrough?
Catalina island, boy did you suck
No nature at all! And I got sick to my stomach
Next I went rafting, and that was full of action
All my friends came along, it was all satisfaction
The hiking was nice, easy, and breezy
Here there was no need to be big and brawny
But then I went on an intense backpacking trip
It was in a desert, and trust me you had to be equipped
The sun was hot, the stars were bright
But then it started to rain, all over our campsite!
The thunder, the lighting, it was all so intense
We had to crouch and do drills, for our own safety and defense!
But then we got home, all safe and well
And now I was thinking, no need for a hotel
We can just live outside
I can survive!
But later that year I went to L.A.
I loved it, it was amusing, and did I mention the buffet?
So, see it was here, where I learned more about me
I love nature, don't take me wrong, but the city I do fancy
The latest trip I would go on, was one to the hot springs
Now this was a hike, no time for relaxing
Then we did solo hikes, which I liked a lot
I was at peace with myself; I had reached an inner thought
And that is what nature gave to me
Something LA could never be
Thus, I hope this explains,
My feelings, my pains
How nature rocks
So I take out of the box
But I also love parties, the malls, and my urban family
This double life of mine can sometimes be tricky
So see I’m both worlds, I have nature and city
I can survive in either; I guess I’m quite classy
Well, good-bye I guess, it's been fun
Call me up, anytime, we can party a ton!
And as you have learned, we can party many ways
Either snowshoing or hey, I do ballets!
